Long ago when I was a novice to living, the concept that I was educated in school was that the American Dream was more that unlike a lot of other representative forms of government were concerned, democracy was developed to belong to the vast majority of people living under the auspices of the ratified Constitution.
The people, though at the time, were rich land owners, and yet, they seemed to want to entitle every citizen that lived in this new found form of government. It was then, a representative form of government, giving each state equal representation, hence the senate, irregardless of it's overall population. It also entitled the larger population states to have more of a say in the overall application of each enacted legislation.
Now I'm more under the influence that the American Dream is more attached to acquisition of objects, and somehow represents how many people know who you are, whether or not you own property or what your station in life is. These are not the Founding Fathers visions of creating an equal playing field for every citizen of this great nation that they wrote down and implemented when we declared our independence from England.
The other concepts about these ideas were that those who were successful, for whatever reason, would share their wealth or their position to give everyone involved in this new form of governing a chance to be United in their citizenship. Why else are their so many people who come from the global community to participate and share their passions making all of us richer in the humanities and creative ideas that come with these freedoms.
Get back to the basics and forget using whatever power comes from a political position you occupy and remember that everyone is a member of this society we created, so get rid the advantages you give to one group or another and realize unless you take the time to balance the least with the most, the system itself does no longer exist in it's original intent. You must educate the children, who must carry the torch for the traditions of equality, you must care for the elderly, who gave us all what we have achieved today, and you must as citizens who make up the majority of the citizens in this country, bear the burdens for those two most important groups in our societal communities. So pick up your capes, gather your wits and your physical attributes and fly into the face of the conflicting dialogues lacking the reality of abundance this world and this country has, and put us back on the tracks that our founding fathers bore witness to, when they wrote those majestic concepts down and signed into the consciousness of the new nation that they founded on a whim and a prayer.

Alternatives to What....?
Okay, so I was raised in the sixties, where the Civil Rights movement and Women's Liberation and the psychedelic drugs reigned in the Summer of Love, and the future for evolutionary spiral of the species of Human Beings looked bright. Shining Star for you to see, What your Life, could Truly Be.....not, I am the Taxman....
I have closely watched with my ear to the ground, and my eyes wide shut, waiting for the pillars of whatever was supposed to happen in the coming years to be supportive of the foundations of Human Kind, considering they kept repeating to me those euphemisms, like Change Takes Time, and you Can't Always get What you Want, but, if you try sometimes, you just Might Find, you get What You Need. Somewhere in the ongoing decades the Drums no longer pounded Rhythm to my Brain.
So now, quickly fast forward to 2012, with Obama, the guy who got us all cheering and yelling, "Yes, We Can", down in Columbia, where the Drug War is a prominent way of life, say, even though the Drug War has failed, that legalization is not the way to go. Deja Vu isn't pounding at my door, or patching the emotional expectations that over the years have punctured my trust in the lyrics of "Time will Come Today", or "Time is on Our Side", considering after that 2008 chanting stopped ringing in our ears, that either the lack of support for Obama after the election, or the Republicans decision to stop Obama by forgetting their jobs as a governing body, giving the people what they want and need, including a good education, taking care of seniors, doing what it takes to be competitive in a global market, and taking precious care of the world's environment, at the very least. Forget the cost, consider the symbolic character of what the United States represents. I now ask you to begin to understand the phrase, "You can either pay me now, or pay me later...." which can easily stand for the lack of fiscal responsibility.
We are now out of Iraq, though still supporting our own chaos in Afghanistan, still spilling caustic rhetoric into the mainstream of the Middle Class, who by the way, have been neglected in the pursuing 30 or 40 years, since the Vietnam conflict, which is where I lost one of my brothers and we still have in congruences in our applications of enforcing drug laws either enacted by legislation in the Federal sense by legislators, while at the same time publicly voting to legalize soft core drugs like Marijuana, to balance out the government deficits that occupy most of the present day governing bodies, because of poorly designed fiscal concepts that are far too extraneous to go into in this diatribe on the loss of our dreams or expectations we threw out into the Universe of the future, or if you want to say it, of "MY" dreams. Please, it is time for sanity, fiscal, spiritual or otherwise, common sense, community and creative and innovative thinking to take over for those failures that all governing bodies in the Global Mind Speak have put us into the " Smack into the Middle" of, and are full of you know what. Time for them to all be put to sleep, period. I have no case, other than that, so let me restate the obvious, this is my story and I am sticking to it. Thank you for any time spent trying to plow through whatever you think this is.

Placating Emotions
Often the gracious moments when we have strong emotions, the patterns in our lives converge not for ourselves, but for others who are in many ways looking for something that they are unfortunately unable to find for themselves. It is in those moments that we bathe ourselves in those singular outbursts, not necessarily to gain footholds for ourselves, but to acquire the perspective of being able to say " I know what you're feeling or what you mean ". Guiding lights are not easy to contain, sometimes even blinding, though those that speak silently from a distance often find it easier to obtain their own chosen ascension when the solutions come for those others through unconscious awareness, using us as a channel, which seems miraculous at times, but is just common place and a responsibility for those that from one moment to the next, without the use of time and space, bear those burdens, but chosen ones, when the wings of an Angel are donned....Mind-speak, Neurons lighting the Fires of Evolutionary Emotional Traumas and just plain common sense and Wisdom's contributions to no longer linger on the past....Present Arms wide open to the clues we all seem to run into.

In Consideration Of...
I feel as though the Republicans have orchestrated a well oiled plan. They have flooded the airwaves of communication with enough disinformation on numerous topics to lull the Democrats into false bravado. Whether it be the "War on Women" or "Voter Fraud" or "Class Warfare" they seem to have excited their fringe base, and made a lot of casual voters to turn off to the caustic rhetoric and to no longer be associated with the political process.
If the Democrats keep their eyes wide shut, with newly enacted voter registration ID laws, the signature Obama Care constitutionality being tested in the Supreme Court, and women's healthcare being a contentious issue, we are all in for some Dark Days ahead.
One hopes that women, the poor, seniors and people of culture and history will wake up and vote in blocks of sanity and give Obama another four years to gather what's left of the Wit and Wisdom that this country was founded on.

Get a Clue....
It is not Mr. Mustard in the library with the candlestick, but rather the acceptance that there is no way out of here. There it lies in all the speculation and idea of letting our emotions get in the way. Why do we think that the Fed's choice of not throwing more money into the pot makes the stock market go down. The idea that we wait for some emotional low to dictate how the value of our institutions make the roller coaster inevitable is a concern that everyone should be watching.
There are tornadoes and shootings and the price of gas, for whatever reason you want to choose makes you wonder, as it keeps rising, and yet these things only occur because we let them occur. Some public outcry by voting those who don't see the whole picture, or living with the concepts of what's good for the goose is good for the gander no longer applies. We've tried the trickle down theories, and watched as politicians, whoever they think they are, go thru the messy capitulation of taking away education, healthcare and taking care of the generation that put us here. Let sanity come alive again with common sense and do the due diligence necessary to believe we can do this thing.

Casual Extrapolations
There are twists and turns involved with getting from point A to point B. It has nothing to do with petition the Lord or political strategy. Even in it's most lucid or static notions, it is in the casual extrapolations that some forms of satisfaction and success that the commutations succeed. It has nothing to do with governmental policy, business contracts, or some legislation that was compromised by lobbyists or by acquiring some form of loophole by applying a different format.
Too often there are off ramps available to give the ones who find dancing with the devil in the details, ways around the initial significance of the original intent. We don't need another law, or some pompous rhetoric to cajole us into feeling better about the conflicts that go with the inherited generational aberrations. What we need to conclude the injustices that have been cast into the wind, is to listen to and hear just the facts, mam.
Herein lies the truth. The sharing of success in necessary. Educating the young, caring for the aged, protecting individual rights, maintenance of the infrastructure, gender equality, preventative medicine and getting up everyday because we want to should be the things that drives the train across the landscapes of human endeavors. Along with those simple provocative assertions should go things like innovation and creativity, and attention to detail and artistic sensibilities wouldn't, couldn't or shouldn't hurt either. What goes up, doesn't necessarily have to come down, either because of Issac Newton or because caustic misinformation enters into the mainstream fabric of society. Instead, supportive wisdom, solace and affirmations, symbolized in positive extrapolations to casual problem solving give clarity to the hieroglyphics of abundance in the Natural World. Monolithic thinking can represent community as well as solutions to the injustices perpetrated by the shallow few who seems to manipulate the human condition.
We must coalesce the symbols that justify the solutions and provide us with the casual extrapolations necessary to become one with Nature again, naturally.

Kiwanis, June, Pancakes and the Villa Chanteleer
When One comes out of the tulle fog of being identified as a Gad About Town or in an entomological view, a Social Butterfly, then the order of Lepidoptera pops up in the lucidity of my thought patterns. Today, then, as an invited guest of our dear friend June, after going to a Divorce Sale by our friend Daria's kid, Joey, for securing some college funds, we moseyed up to the Villa Chanteleer up on the mountain in Healdburg for a few cat calls of Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and orange juice.
I was lucky enough to procure a seat and settle in on a vast array of chatter that ensued into what is commonly called a conversation, solving a majority of what we both thought were dumb witted outcomes to simple common sense solutions. Though we were both cut off prematurely, we had enjoyed a rousing conversation about our lives, history and some of our personal viewpoints on topical 24 hour a day chit chat, and not ones that can be easily found on Facebook or Twitter. Don't get me wrong, these things don't always strike the fancy of, or are used as ways to teach Old Dogs new tricks, but rather just do not contain any of the usual banter that well-read and overly pretentious senior embellishers find the free time to somehow connect the daily dots with. By no means does it take the place of a good Crosswords Puzzle found in your neighborhood daily Newspaper.
So this is Steven, go out and get some spine tingling, verbal exaltation by engaging yourself in some breakfast or dinner charity fund raiser in your indigenous neighborhood, and start up some new friendships with either the line cooks or servers, or the volunteer young citizens, and go home satiated that you as a member of your upstanding and abundantly socially active community have done a small civic duty by contributing to the social apparatus "Network", Child
