One can imagine, if I was me that my decision back in 1972 was a deliberate attempt at speaking my mind and going into a lookout or watcher to observe, until such a time as I felt it necessary to get back in the fray.
Though I have been told since I chose at that particular time in our democracy not to cast my vote or opinion by marking a ballot in any further election that I no longer had the right to an opinion or just as bad, to complain about the situations that ensued.
Even though I am still in that same train of thought, I do keep myself educated on the malaise occurring from time to time, and try if confronted by others what is actually happening, just to give them an overview of what I recognize to be the majority of opinions on any given topic of political discourse.
I do keep my own opinions to myself, except on occasion on social media and I make it a habit not to complain about anything, since I have abdicated the throne of responsibility. I am enjoying at the moment what is, I consider, an entertaining bit of political theater.
Growing up in the 60's I had plenty of time to soak or bask in my own inane way what was occurring around me and certainly had my father to bounce off of to give me his perspective since it was so much more enamored with a full set of the permutations involved.
When it came in historical time to cast my one and only vote, it was clear, set in stone, that my involvement in this system, was not to be when McGovern and the Marijuana Initiative got lambasted, like lamb on a stick. I understand my reticence when I chose not to be involved because I was a poor loser, yet to this day I cling to that peculiar extrapolation. I do not harbor any feelings about your choices and yet I have heard the gambit and range of emotional feedback I have gotten for this choice, but I am Me, and therefore when I think, I do believe I exist in that moment of reflection. Sink the Bismark....Later, I suppose.

Who, What and Where....
Just a moment while I collect a few notes here. As I live and breathe we have a lot of people who will go nameless that are complaining about their way of life being attacked. Well now here this, as government seems to think by mandating that companies pay their employees more, those companies as we knew have begun to raise the prices of their prices to cover the difference.
This does nothing to give people the chance to become more independent and begin to buy more of the products that keep the economy going. We look forward to giving everyone a chance to purchase more the the essentials. So far Starbucks and Chipotle have acquired this absurdity. Wal-Mart brags about the fact that their employees need to get paid more, and yet I have found a few disparities in that concept noticing that they too have raised the prices to cover the increase in pay for their employees.
Just stop buying these products from these companies. Watch how they lay people off. As the concept of the rich get richer, or at least keep their same profit, it seems as there is no end to their greed. Just once help those that need the help most.
As once person said to me, if you can deny someone who is LGBT because of your religious beliefs, then if my religious belief is no guns, can I too deny gun owners the right to purchase my products? If you own a business you have the right to deny service to anyone, but if you are an employee of a government entity, and you're job is to do a certain job, then you have the right to lose that job. When I get jobs, the company can let me go for no reason, but they expect me to give two weeks notice, and if not, they call me irresponsible. This doesn't end here, I have plenty of chatter left in me, but I have to go to work to pay the bills.

Gestalt
Though as you all know, breaking up events by it's parts is not the same as the meaning behind the illusion or the absoluteness created by the whole.
You cannot diagram a sentence and hope to understand the full meaning of it's original intent.
No matter the chatter that goes on between the lines of rhetoric at it's finest, we often miss out on the obvious hidden aspect of the consequences of said acts of misconduct.
Someday hopefully we will realize that we can live together in peace and harmony, that we don't have to caricature the negativity when we put the energy out to be discordant about other people's lifestyles.
War does not have to exist and it doesn't ever solve the problem, it just delays the outcome.
So go ahead, make my day, get further in than you'll ever be out, go chase some rainbows or waterfalls for that matter, and follow that rabbit down that whole in the cosmos to discover the conceptions of Life without end.
It is, after all, all going on at the same time, and you can grab any spoke in the wheel and get out of any linear projections you feel like, helping your fellow constituents come along for the "Ride"

Local City Limits
I am wandering along the roadside on one of my many journeys just before doing my awakenings underneath the overpass that is closest to my being at any particular moment and yet I am aware I am still asleep.
As posture and ponders balance themselves I am aware that the system we so incoherently indulge is, is one of free will. Not that any of us have any real clue as to what this means, because it has nothing at all to to with predestination. Rather the gestalt lies in acceptance that there is a balance between here and there, in so much as if there is right, there is wrong, just like if there is good there is bad, and so it goes sometimes to the highest bidder.
What we conceive as God, or All That Is, or just one form or another of Love, or just consciousness Itself is the notion that we are always in the control of the outcome and though we might not like the imagery we experience, it is not because something or someone is allowing it to happen, we are the perpetrators, not some unforeseen force beyond our control. There are infinite acts in this play, whether it be of or by passion or some form of dramatic recompense, so trying to sift through one malaise after another is often a daunting task, or if you must, a high wire act of contrition. We cannot allow ourselves to blame anyone other than ourselves.
What we come in contact with is essentially a challenge we have chosen and diving into either the deep or shallow end of any given pool is just the beginning of the workout, and the ripples created are our own personal adventures. If we gave ourselves no challenges, provided no diversity in our environment, with nothing to expand, or to remember why we have chosen such a consciousness to reflect to create the illusion of time, where in the world would we find ourselves. It's all happening at the Zoo, and the words of this poet are written on the Subway Walls, and the Man in the Gaberdine suit is a Spy, his tie is actually a camera. Mister Toad invites you along for his wild Ride on Silver Moon, before and after the fact. The Point is Moot at this Juncture.
Corporations are not people, democracy cannot be bought, income inequality is not a presupposed disposition, trying to make it hard to vote is not creating diversity, stopping any gender from making individual decisions about their own bodies is not a spiritual or religious awakening of any sort, and finding ways to subvert the plethora of outcomes is just plain lunacy. Why, because we love you, M-O-U-S-E...you all come back now, ya hear? Philanthropy is in the eyes, minds and bodies of the beholders.

Tapestry
It's early, not so much as a twinkling in your eye, but the frogs are croaking, the birds are singing and the crickets are doing that thing they do, and Mother Nature is doing her best to calm the environment down as she herself is expressing her desire to be creative and reassuring.
There is reflection in the air, thoughts swirling in no particular algorithm yet there is pause to reconsider what is happening here.
What we have here, maybe, just maybe, is a failure to communicate. No I haven't eaten 60 hard boiled eggs in the past hour, and yet my dialogues continue to change the time and space continuum, going into, not so much an authoritarian regime, but one of consternation and anomalies hopefully gaining ground on serendipity or kismet.
There is after all no shame in dealing with yourself and your mental anquish and not subjecting others to your selfish persecutlions by trying to safe face, by denying those who care about you their due process when they diagnose your particular malady. Here lies the dilema in the human condition or "Being Human", and whether or not there are no accidents and no one is innocent, as my friend Lee always used to clamor about. There are consequences to be experienced in our reality that we don't see coming, though I am not one who believes we are blind to these things, as they are historical in nature, and yet we all become shocked at these outcomes and spend time mourning instead of paying closer attention to the signposts we throw in front of ourselves while we take those Robert Frost roadtrips from time to time....time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping into the future.
To offend or defend, that is the question. I don't think, as the founders intended in forming this Union of sorts, that we divide and then conquer to form a more perfect image of the balance of power and guiding us to a conception that everyone is an equal. We are what we are. We can't evolve with the constant threat of putting one thought pattern over another. We should embrace and enjoy the beauty and neccesity of diversity. I want to define the parameters involved here, but with social media at it's rampant existence, caustic commentary doesn't bring us to any simple conclusions, just more myriad possibilities to defame the desire to solve the calamities we inflict on ourselves.
I personally don't care about e-mail situations, and for staying occupied with what happened before now, or that somehow money is the cause and effect of sanity, or good will, just that we begin to open our eyes to how it all comes together to attract those consequences we seem so shocked to discover. Okay, income equality, education, being able to nourish oneself, a place to call your own (a Home), living within your means, not becoming intolerant of someone else's spiritual spheres and learning to become one with your chosen environment would be just a beginning on the evolutionary process we have chosen to experience in what seems to be this thing called individual reality. I am not in any way more aware, wiser and certainly not a good example of a role model, but I have taken a few strolls down the runway of life and what sells at the moment or the thought pattern that is fashionable now, doesn't always predict satisfaction. There are personal answers that are available to anyone that cares to listen to the voices that we collude with, but the point here is to enjoy your life, while your living it, and pass on to others the insights that welcome some form of wisdom and collective assurance that everything will be alright. Do what you got to do, enjoy it while it is yours, because you can't take it with you when you go, shining star for you to See, What your Life can truly be. I have friends that do just that and they are the shining stars you see in the skies at night. Period....end of diatribe.

Indulgence in Nostalgia
Now as one does from time to time, gathering some wits about yourself and the many twists and turns on the roads well traveled and also the sophmoric illusions you had when you took those road trips, I did just that a few days, weeks or maybe just hours ago, during my less than nuanced dream weaving.
I remember those days that I would listen intently to a person's speech patterns, the diction, connotations, the pronunciations on certain syllables of certain words for dramatic intent or an attempt to persuade someone to follow the bouncing ball and use them later as a form of entertainment. Along with those impressions I also did two things. One was to feel the emotions flow over my psyche, the other watching the facial contortions of the person I was alluding to, go and stare at myself in the mirror and do those things to my face and my voice that would make me feel the same way, and later in front of that person, play out the impressions hoping to realize the look in that person's eyes when they knew what I was up to. That was entertainment for me.
Second years ago with my Mom we would sit in front of the TV and watch shows, mostly mysteries and try and persuade each other with dubious intent that we had some key to the Kingdom as to who or what the thing that was being perpetrated on our humble personages before the other. Mostly it was a 50/50 draw, but probably for my own benefit, if anyone held the edge, for whatever reason, it was my Mom.
When I was going to college I spent more time on meeting people and learning about their lives than I did on my studies. I'm sure part of the reasoning for that tidbit of information was I felt my social skills later on, my ability to use their stories for my own glorification and embellishments to be allegorical in and of nature would be worth the risk, seeing how I also felt I could if I heard the humming sound of the particular class in question, I could fake it. We all have had those moments of personal delusions. Though I must admit I am after all reticent on the outcomes of those conclusions. You the reader, after all, of this short indulgence, have to be the judge of that.
There have been so many moments, captured in time, space and the equilibrium of silence and the staring out into the distance of whatever panoramic view existed then, that I could have lived out my days, without further ado about nothing, without regret, knowing that what I came here for, had been concluded. The dance of sugarplum fairies of Midsummer Night Dreams. Up Dancer, Up Prancer, Up Donner and Blitzen....and as Jackie Gleason once solicited...."...and Away We Gooooooo...!!!!!!

Down to the Bone
I too often find myself thinking instead of sleeping or listening for that matter. I of course often times find myself in the kitchen putting some type of signature dish together hoping the creation will neutralize the fervor.
Beauty, and it is always further in than it will ever be out, seems concentrated by numerous things like experience, attitude and desire for some immaculate truth. Those truths have no value and can only be obtained by experiencing them.
Let me say staring out on a Sunset with either a rolling thunder storm, or a glass of wine with a Montana Mountain range on the horizon with the company of a fire pit, catching a perfect brain Wave and riding it to the shore, listening to the rain touch some sophmoric nerve and really, finding what you want at the Grocery Store, for the price you want to pay are examples of Epiphanies.
You may have sat around giving praise to your choice of Deity, hoping for some miracle to arise, and yet, that Deity has been waiting longer for you to arise, or ascend for that matter.
If you have a glorious chance to raise a Child or teach one for that matter, just know you don't want to impose on their palettes your painted strokes on reality, but give them the signposts you have chosen to experience to guide their own paths; so as not to make them follow in others nuances of truth. Foundations are stoic, but the framing involved in personal illusions or solicitations is a lifetime of whirling dervishes.
Acknowledgement and emotional support are the best we have to give at momentary pauses, and spell check moments will be underlined by the participants themselves and will be resolved post haste in their own sweet places of imaginings.
Lighthouses that contain the shore perspectives and the light bulbs that appear from time to time above our heads are personal goals containing enigmas to unravel in the spaces and places we surround ourselves with and are to be enjoyed for their unique perspectives. What a wonderful world we exist in.
